TERMS OF SERVICE
ORDERING AND PAYMENT
You can fill out the Google form or email me for a commission. Once I receive the form, I will email you to confirm and discuss details.
If you email me, put in your desired commission type, any references you have, short character descriptions to get a feel for the subject, and your PayPal email.
Turnaround can range from two days to a month or longer due to my day job and depending on the commission complexity. I will let you know when I begin your commission and how approximately how long it’ll take, as well as anything that may happen to push the completion date back.
Once we work out the details, I will send you a PayPal invoice (USD only)
I want to work with you in bringing your project to life. If I feel you are being inappropriate and/or behaving in a rude manner, I will decline your commission request.
The more references and detail you give, the closer the final piece will be to your vision. Don’t go overboard, however. I don’t need a 5-page backstory, but a short paragraph or two of how the character acts is fine.
Revisions will not be done unless if I forgot to add a detail mentioned in the original correspondence, in which case the error will be fixed.
Progress on commissions less than $100 will not begin until full payment is received. Commissions over $100 may be paid in half payments. If the halfway point of the commission is reached before the second half of the payment is received, progress will be paused until the payment is received, to which the commission will then be completed.
Props and complicated designs will incur additional charges, which will be mentioned in our correspondence.
Refunds will not be given unless I am unable to complete your commission, in which case I will give a refund equal to the amount of work I was unable to complete.
Orders are first-come, first-serve. If you have a deadline in mind, there will be a $10 surcharge to be placed at the top of the queue. Let me know what date you need it by. If the date is too soon, i.e., within the next few days/tomorrow, or If I don’t think I’ll be able to complete it by the date you give, I will not be able to accept your order.
MY PROCESS
After I receive payment and any additional references needed, I will begin the thumbnail sketch of the commission. The thumbnail sketch will be sent to you for any changes needed and approval before I move on to the next stage. The thumbnail sketch phase is the time to ask for changes, as afterwards it becomes difficult to change aspects of the commission.
Changes requested after the thumbnail sketch phase may incur additional charges, depending on the change, i.e. changing the pose, and thus the base sketch, would incur a charge, while minor color changes would not.
I typically send just the sketch progress image, but if you’d like more progress pics, let me know. They all will come watermarked, and only the finished piece will be delivered unwatermarked.
The finished commission will be sent as a PNG file at 300 dpi.
GENERAL POLICIES
Commissions will not be used for commercial purposes, i.e. reselling it or promoting your own commercial project, and are for personal use only.
I reserve the right to refuse commission requests for any reason.
I reserve the copyrights to commissioned work and thus post commissions to social media.
If you’d like, tell me your social media handles so that I may tag you appropriately.
You may post the commission to your own social media. If you do so, be sure to credit me appropriately as the artist.
You may not claim my artwork as your own, nor trace or heavily reference my work and claim it as your own.
Strictly written descriptions and references will work in place of visual reference, however, this will result in the commission price increasing since it will require more work from me to create a design from scratch.
None of my works may be used in any blockchain-related technology, including but not limited to, NFTs, cryptocurrency, and any related future inventions.
None of my works may be used to feed AI image generators.
